New acquaintances - The Collab Group and Spiral Skills announce new partnership

We are delighted to have been warmly welcomed into The Collab Group's innovative education network. Together we will strive to broaden access to transformative careers education and opportunities for London's disadvantaged young people.

The Collab Group is a  forwarding thinking membership network which represents 36 leading colleges and college groups. They collaborate with employers, government and education partners, to take a leading role in shaping the future skills needs to ensure the long-term economic capacity of the UK economy.  Ian Petty, CEO of The Collab Group, kindly said:

We are delighted to announce our partnership with Spiral Skills. We are excited to work together to explore how learners can benefit from their socially inclusive and targeted approach to careers guidance. Considering the productivity and skills-based challenges that the UK economy faces, ensuring learners have access to a clear, robust and engaging careers service is more vital than ever. This partnership provides a fantastic opportunity and we are excited to be working together.

To which Joel Balkwill, CEO and co-founder, replied:

"Spiral Skills are thrilled to join the Collab Group's formidable education network. Together we hope to reach even more young people at risk of becoming NEET; dismantling the barriers they are facing to employment with our innovative career programmes. In developing the skills, attitudes and aspirations every young person needs to fulfill their potential, we can build a more inclusive, diverse and successful economy. We thank the Collab Group for their support and look forward to a bright future ahead for all."

This exciting announcement comes as we begin to scale our work across London. We look forward to meeting and learning from The Collab Group's education partners and consequentially enriching our services for young people.

Onward and upwards!
