Watch the 696 Promoters Celebratory Video | A music industry event programme in partnership with the Hornimans Museum

“It’s honestly been amazing, being able to work with people from different backgrounds, who do different things, and being able to come together and create one event”

The 696 Promoters are a group of young people aged 16 – 25 who are passionate about producing live music events. Over 10 weeks they worked with music industry experts to produce a music event as part of the 696 programme. Watch this video and hear from the Promoters themselves about working on this project, and the lessons learnt along the way!

Spiral Skills had the pleasure of co-delivering this programme, a project led by The Horniman Museum and Gardens, supported by the Youth Music Charity. Participants are now receiving mentoring and being matched to employment opportunities in music and creative industries. If you work in the music industry, and have employment opportunities to share with this talents young cohort, please contact oppoortunities@myspiral.co.uk.

We would like to share our congratulations to the promoters, and special shout outs to the delivery team Rudi Schmidt, Luis Dembina, Joel Balkwill, Abdoul Ndambi, Ben Kahn and Jhemar Jonas.
